Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew conducts memorial service for the victims of the tragic accident in Libya

On Monday, 18 September 2023, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who is taking part in an official visit to Estonia, conducted a Trisagion Memorial Service for the Repose of the victims of the tragic accident in Libya, at the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary on the island of Hiiumaa.

In his speech, His All-Holiness expressed his grief over the fact that people who went to save their fellow human beings lost their lives, and expressed his condolences and sympathy to their families.
