Christmas Carols at the Phanar

On Christmas Eve, 24 December 2023, traditional Christmas carols were sung to His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew by Greek Orthodox youth from the Educational and Artistic Association of Feriköy, and also by the teachers and students of the Zografeion Lyceum and the Zappeion School.

His All-Holiness, in his speech to the youth of the Romiosyni, referred to the importance of preserving the traditions of our Nation, he spoke of the value of the peaceful coexistence of peoples and religions, of solidarity and dialogue, and wished everyone a merry and blessed Christmas and a fruitful and peaceful new year, in the hope that peace will prevail in the long-suffering Holy Land and Ukraine.
