Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis at the celebrating Church of Saint Athanasios in Paiania

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was in Paiania on the morning of Friday, 2 May 2025, on the occasion of the celebration of the city’s patron saint, Saint Athanasios.

Prime Minister Mitsotakis attended the Divine Liturgy at the Church of Saint Athanasios in Paiania and then participated in the procession of the icon of Saint Athanasios.

Following the feast day celebrations, the Prime Minister visited the Olympic facilities in the area that have recently reopened under the supervision of OAKA, and where track and fencing athletes now train.
