A school of Greek dance, customs and traditions is established in the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne
His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne, held a meeting with the following clergy; Father Stavros Kakavas, Proistamenos of the Holy Church of St Anargiri, Father George Adamakis, Proistamenos of the Holy Church of Saint Catherine, Father Panagiotis Zoumboulis, Proistamenos of the Holy Church of the Holy Archangels, Father Nicholas Georgiou, Proistamenos of the Holy Church of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple, Father Kyprianos Nerouppos, Proistamenos of the Holy Church of Saint Andrew,
as well as with the dance teacher Mr. Jordan Moskhovitis, at the offices of the Holy Archdiocese in Melbourne.
During this meeting, with the blessing and exhortation of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, the establishment of the School of Greek dance, customs and traditions in the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne was discussed.
