Venice: Exhibition dedicated to Cretan and Venetian-Cretan art

His Eminence Metropolitan Polykarpos of Italy, attended on Tuesday, 29 April 2025, the inauguration of the exhibition “L’ oro dipinto”, dedicated to Cretan and Venetian-Cretan art and the relations between Venice and Crete. The exhibition is organised by the Museums of the City of Venice at the Doge’s Palace, in collaboration with the Hellenic Institute of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Studies, the Byzantine and Christian Museum of Athens and many other participants.
