Sydney: The programme for the celebration of the National Anniversary of the Greek Revolution

The Greeks of Sydney will proudly celebrate the National Anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821. The official celebration of the Anniversary, which is organised by the Holy Archdiocese of Australia in collaboration with the Greek Orthodox Community of New South Wales, will take place next Sunday, 23 March 2025, and will include:

• Doxology Service led by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of Our Lady (10:30am)
• Memorial Service and Wreath Laying at the Martin Place Cenotaph, followed by a student parade to the Sydney Opera House (1:00pm)
• Cultural Programme at the Sydney Opera House (2:30pm)
