Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos receives Metropolitan Nikolaos of Mesogaia, pilgrims from Greece
The Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Theophilos III, along with Hagiotaphite Fathers, on Monday warmly received the visiting Metropolitan of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki, His Eminence Nikolaos, who headed a group composed of clergymen, expert scientists and pilgrims from the Holy Metropolis, which is located due east of Athens.
Among others, the Metropolitan of Mesogaia again pledged to the Patriarch of Jerusalem that the Metropolis will convey financial support for the ongoing renovation at the God-receiving Cave of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
