Melbourne: The Greek-Australian contributing to the comfort of hospitalised children and their families

Actively supporting the work of the Ronald McDonald Foundation in Melbourne, the young Greek-Australian Mr. Aristidis Tsoulakos is helping in the comfort of many families whose children are hospitalised in the city’s hospitals.

As he explained, speaking to the newspaper “Neos Kosmos”: “This is the way I continue to stay connected and give back to a foundation that does remarkable work in our society, not only providing free accommodation to families using the neighbouring hospital facilities, but also educational programs that provide opportunities for students who miss school in order not to be left behind. In Parkville alone, the foundation office accommodates up to 50 families. Over the years, the foundation has shown great appreciation for my various donations and emphasised the impact this would have on families going through difficult times.”

Mr. Aristidis Tsoulakos has been steadily offering his help to the Foundation, and by extension to the families and children who are supported by the foundation, since 2019. Especially in times like the Christmas holiday period, his support is even more intensive, taking over the coordination of donations from local businesses to the foundation.

Ronald McDonald House is a charity that provides comfort to families of sick children and supports programs to improve the health and well-being of children across Australia, according to its website.
