Ecumenical Patriarch at the Archaeological Museum of Kavala and the Ancient Theatre of Philippi

At the Archaeological Museum of Kavala, in the presence of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine Epiphaniy and Metropolitan Damascenes Didymoteichos, representative of the Church of Greece, on the afternoon of Monday, September 5 2022, after the official Doxology in the Metropolitan Cathedral, the digital presentation of the sacred heirlooms of the Holy Metropolis of Philippi, Neapolis and Thassos and the opening of the Exhibition of sacred portable icons and relics took place.

In the evening of the same day, a great concert took place in the Ancient Theater of Philippi, entitled “LET US GO AGAIN TO THE MIRACLES”, in honour of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and His Beatitude Epiphaniy, where the Mixed Choir and Orchestra of the Holy Church of Saint John Chrysostomos of Thessaloniki participated, with performers Kostas Makedonas and Georgia Tagakis, and the Choir of the students of the Music School of Kavala.

Hierarchs of the Throne, the Church of Greece and the Church of Ukraine were also present, as well as representatives of the local authorities and a large number of people.

The Ecumenical Patriarch closed the evening with his paternal speech, congratulating the contributors of the successful event.
