Christmas celebrated with splendour and reverence at the Greek Orthodox Parish of Milan
The Great Feast of the Nativity of Christ was celebrated with splendour and reverence at the Greek Orthodox Parish of Milan. The festive day included the Service of the Matins and the Divine Liturgy, which were officiated by Archimandrite Ioannis Batsis.
During the Divine Liturgy, the faithful participated with deep devotion. At the conclusion of the service, the encyclical of the Ecumenical Patriarchate was read, conveying the universal and salvific message of the Incarnation of the Word of God.
Following the distribution of the antidoron, the congregation had the opportunity to enjoy Christmas hymns and carols, filling their hearts with joy and the spirit of the season. The day concluded with the appropriate solemnity, underscoring the significance of the Nativity of the Saviour Christ as a source of love, peace, and hope.
