Archdiocesan District of Perth : Cutting of the Vasilopita at Hellenic Aged Care Dianella
On Tuesday the 4th of January 2022, His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea officiated over the blessing of the New Year service and Cutting of the Vasilopita at the Hellenic Community Aged Care in Dianella.
His Grace distributed to each of the residents a piece of the Vasilopita. The residents and staff of the aged care were filled with joy to receive the blessing of His Grace for the new year.
His Grace conveyed to all the staff and residents the paternal blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios as well as his own best wishes for the new year ahead.
At the conclusion of the service His Grace, accompanied by Fr Terry Gerovasilis, visited various residents who were unable to attend the service.
