Sydney: On 19 February…..All roads lead to Darling Harbour
For the Greeks of Sydney and beyond, all roads will lead to Darling Harbor this coming Sunday, 19 February 2023. The all-day Greek Fest of Sydney, which is an annual event, will take place in Darling Harbour – an institution of the Greek Community, which has been an annual event for over four decades.
Darling Harbor is expected to be flooded with Greek sounds and favourite melodies, with the main performance to be given by the acclaimed performer Alkistis Protopsalti. With her on the main stage of the Festival, the artists Konstantina Touni and Tryfonas Anastasiou from Greece will appear, as well as the bands IHO NYX, Mistura and SousAnna’s.
The Festival will be embellished with the presence of dance groups from organisations of the Greek Community, while visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy genuine Greek foods and traditional Greek products. The day’s surprises include the raffle, where amazing prizes will be drawn, with first prize being two round-trip tickets to Greece.
