71 newly recorded Covid-19 deaths in NSW and VIC

The deaths of patients with Covid-19 recorded in the last twenty-four hours in the two largest States of Australia amount to 71.

In particular, 37 new victims of the pandemic were recorded in Victoria.

A total of 852 patients are being treated in State hospitals, of which 33 are in Intensive Care and 9 are intubated.

The new cases amount to 12,154.

34 patients sadly lost their lives in New South Wales.

The total hospitalisations are 2,282, with 65 patients in the Intensive Care Unit.

The cases of the last twenty-four hours are 15,704.
