53 new covid-19 deaths in NSW and VIC

The deaths of patients with Covid-19 recorded in the last twenty-four hours in the two largest States of Australia amount to 53.

In particular, 33 patients lost their lives in New South Wales.

The total hospitalisations are at 1,894, with 61 patients in the Intensive Care Unit.

The new cases amount to 11,434.

20 new deaths related to the  pandemic were recorded in Victoria.

A total of 667 patients are being treated in State hospitals, of which 34 are in Intensive Care and 5 are intubated.

The new cases amount to 8,776 in the State of Victoria.
