23 new Covid-19 deaths in NSW and VIC

The deaths of patients with Covid-19 recorded in the last twenty-four hours in the two largest States of Australia amount to 23.

In particular, 18 new victims of the pandemic were recorded in Victoria.

A total of 821 patients are being treated in State hospitals, of which 35 are in Intensive Care and 9 are intubated.

The new active cases in Victoria are recorded at 10,251.

A further 5 deaths were recorded in New South Wales.

The total hospitalisations amount to 2,169, with 64 patients in the Intensive Care Unit.

The cases of the last twenty-four hours are 9,761.
