His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew honoured Metropolitan Stefanos of Kallioupolis on 27 December by visiting him at the Church of St. Dimitrios in Tatavla. This visit coincided with the Metropolitan’s name day, a momentous occasion also marked by the Patriarch’s visit to his office.
The Ecumenical Patriarch and the Metropolitan were warmly welcomed by members of the Church Committee led by President Mr. Georgios Theodoridis at the Church. The Committee members sought the Patriarch’s blessing and paternal wishes for the celebrations of the Holy Twelve Days of Christmas and for their continued service.
Expressing his heartfelt sentiments, the Ecumenical Patriarch conveyed his wishes for Metropolitan Stefanos’s well-being and the continued success of his esteemed ministry.
