Victoria records 221 new local COVID-19 cases with 98 linked to known outbreaks
Victoria has recorded 221 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases from 42,429 tests.
Of Wednesday’s infections, the health department said 98 have so far been linked to known outbreaks and cases.
There are now 1,920 active cases in the state.
Health authorities administered 36,716 COVID-19 vaccines in the past 24 hours, taking the state’s total number to 2,680,174.
More than 60 per cent of Victorians have received at least one dose of a vaccine.
