Vespers for the Dormition of the Theotokos in Canberra, ACT

With the Blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis visited Canberra and conducted Vespers for the Great Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos at the church of St Nicholas.

In his sermon His Grace spoke about the importance of the Theotokos and how She must be an example for us. We are called to mirror her humility,  her obedience to the Will of God, her love and purity of soul.

In closing His Grace conveyed the love and blessings of His Eminence and wished everyone a blessed feast day.
