Turkish theologian: The Koran does not accept the conversion of Hagia Sophia into a mosque

The Turkish theologian, Mustafa Islamoglou, by rocking the boat of the official political position of the state, spoke about the conversion of Hagia Sophia into a mosque and the meaning of conquest in a show of the Turkish service of Deutsche Welle.

The Turkish theologian argued that the conversion of Hagia Sophia into a mosque is against the Koran.

“It is an action that the Koran does not accept,” he mentioned, while commenting on the appearance of the head of Turkey’s Religious Affairs, Ali Erbas, in Hagia Sophia, holding a sword, Islamoglu referred to an heretical interpretation of the concept of conquest.

“Conquest means the peace agreement made with the polytheists. Today they read the conquest under the perception of the occupation of Constantinople.

Do you see the lack of knowledge?

Do you understand how much ignorance there is?

Therefore, preaching with a sword or something similar is not a conquest. Conquest is actually conquest of the human heart. “It is the coming together of two human hearts”, he pointedly stated.
