The Youth of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote celebrate ‘Tsiknopempti’

On Thursday, 7 March 2024, the traditional Greek ‘Tsiknopempti’ (Barbeque Thursday) was celebrated by the youth of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote.

Over 200 young men and women gathered on the premises of the Holy Monastery of Axion Esti to participate in the celebration.

His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta, conveyed to all those present the wishes and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, along with the assurance that the Holy Archdiocese and their Chief Shepherd are ready to move forward with them into the future.

“We are with you, Children. All we ask is, like tonight, that you always remain in the Church and trust her, because she is our mother who takes care of our needs”, His Grace emphasised, among other things.
