The Sunday of Zacchaeus at the Theological School of Halki

On the Sunday of Zacchaeus, 28 January 2024, in the chapel of the Theological School of Halki, the Resurrection Matins and Divine Liturgy took place, officiated from the parathrone by the Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos.

A large group of pilgrims from the Greek Orthodox Community in Cologne, Germany, attended the Church Service.

The Abbot, after the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, welcomed the pilgrims to the Theological School of Halki, referring to its history and the issue of its forced suspension of operation more than half a century ago.

Afterwards, the visitors were guided to the classrooms, the historical Library and through other areas of the Theological School.
