The Sunday of Thomas at the Theological School of Halki

In the chapel of Saint Germanos, Archbishop of Constantinople and Confessor who is commemorated on the 12 May, which is located in the narthex of the chapel of the Theological School of Halki, on the Sunday of Thomas the Matins and Divine Liturgy took place and were officiated by the Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos.

After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Abbot conducted an Artoklasia (blessing of the five loaves) in honour of the Saint, but also a Trisagion Memorial Service for the repose of the late Patriarch Germanos IV, who 180 years ago founded the Theological School of Halki, and for the blessed Metropolitans and graduates of the School , Metropolitan Germanos of Thyateira, Professor and Headmaster during the years 1907-1922, Metropolitan Germanos of Theodoroupolis, acting Abbot in the years 1991-1995, and Metropolitan Germanos of Tranoupolis, who was for a number of years a member and President of the Ephorate of the School.

For the Divine Liturgy large groups of pilgrims from Greece attended.
