The Sacrament of the Holy Unction was celebrated at the Ecumenical Patriarchate (PHOTOS)

On Holy Wednesday, 1 May 2024, in the afternoon, the Grand Protosyncellus Archimandrite Gregory presided over the Sacrament of the Holy Unction. His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew attended the service prayerfully. On the morning of the same day, he presided over the last Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts.

The Ecumenical Patriarch also presided over the following services at the Patriarchal Church:

a) The Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts on the morning of Holy Monday, April 29,

b) The Service of the Bridegroom, in the afternoon of the same day,

c) The Service of the Bridegroom, on the afternoon of Holy Tuesday

His Eminence Metropolitan Theodore of Seleucia presided over the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts on the morning of Holy Tuesday, April 30.
