The President of the Greek Community of Djibouti fell asleep in the Lord

The Metropolis of Aksum made an announcement referring to the passing of Mr. Eleftherios Georgalis, President of the Greek Community of Djibouti.

Read the announcement:

“His Eminence Metropolitan Daniel of Aksum and all the Christians of our Local Church, express their deepest condolences to the family of the deceased, his wife and children, the brothers Nikolaos and Georgios Georgalis, the members of their families and the Greek Community in Djibouti, with the prayer that the Leader of Life, our Lord Jesus Christ, may his soul rest in peace.

The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Aksum, grateful for the many-year contribution of the late benefactor President Eleftherios Georgalis to the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen and the Greek Community, will announce official commemorative events and hold a Memorial Service.

May his memory be eternal!”
