The Music Schools of Drama and Kavala visit the Community of Kontoskalion in Constantinople

On the Second Sunday of Lent, 16 March 2025, at the magnificent Church of Saint Kyriaki in Kontoskalion, Constantinople, the Divine Liturgy took place and was presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos of Selyvria, Patriarchal Supervisor of the Hypsomatheia, Vlagka and Konstoskalion Districts.

Also present and joined in prayer were a group of teachers and students from the Music Schools of Kavala and Drama, Mr. Georgios-Spyridon Mamalos and faithful from Constantinople and from abroad. The chanting of the Divine Liturgy was offered most beautifully by Protopsaltis Mr. Chrysovalantis Ioannidis, and also by Mr. Mihail Kozis, Protopsaltis of the District.

After the Dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, the students of the two Schools presented a rich artistic program, and Archon Mr. Nicholas Stefanakis, head of the students of the Music School of Drama, with obvious emotion and gratitude, on behalf of everyone, thanked His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos and the Committee of the Kontoskalion Community for organising the event and conveyed the warm wishes of His Eminence Metropolitan Dorotheos of Drama.
