The First Service of the Bridegroom at the Patriarchate of Jerusalem
On Palm Sunday evening the First Service of the Bridegroom was held at the Catholicon of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, namely the Matins of Holy and Great Monday. The Service was led by Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem along with Priests, Monks, and pilgrims.
Before the end of the service, the Patriarch wished the faithful Christians that they may celebrate the Holy Week in a spiritual manner at the places of the Passion and the Resurrection of our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
