The Feast of the Resurrection of Christ at the Metropolis of Princes’ Islands

In the midst of a crowd of believers, the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead took place again this year in the Holy Metropolis of the Princes’ Islands. The Holy Pascha of the Orthodox!

During the Divine Liturgy of the Resurrection, at midnight on Great and Holy Saturday, in the Metropolitan Church of Saint Dimitrios the Prince, His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Dimitrios of the Princes’ island presided, who also presided during the Vespers of the Resurrection, on Easter Sunday, 5 May 2024.

The blessed Red Paschal Eggs were distributed in both Holy Services, followed by a festive Paschal meal at the idyllic restaurant at the foot of the wooded hill of ‘Agios Georgios Koudounas’ Prinkipo Island, with the participation of many parishioners of the island, as well as the Mayor of the islands Mr. Ercan Akpolat along with his family.
