The feast of St. Dimitrios was celebrated in Zambia

The Church celebrated on the 26 October the memory of the Holy and Glorious Great Martyr Dimitrios the Myrrh-gusher.

The focus of the celebration in the Holy Metropolis of Zambia was the Missionary Church of Saints Basil and Dimitrios, in Lusaka, where on the day of the feast, a festive Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, the Ordination of a new deacon, the procession of the holy icon and the Doxology for the national holiday of Zambia were conducted.
