The Feast Day of Saint Haralambos in Tanzania

The Feast Day of Saint Haralambos the Hieromartyr was celebrated in a festive atmosphere at the Church of Zoodochos Pigi (Life-giving Spring) in the village of Makota in Iringa, Tanzania. A devout clergyman, Father Onesimos, ministers to the faithful there, who together with his ten-member family, are a bright example for the parishioners and believers of the surrounding area.

The faithful came to the Divine Liturgy to celebrate the memory of Saint Haralambos, coming from the village and the other parishes where father Onesimos ministers. After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, a meal was offered by an anonymous brother of the faithful community, in memory of Mr. Vasilios Dalamitras.
