The Ecumenical Patriarch attended the speech of the Metropolitan of Myra

On Sunday afternoon, 26 November 2023, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew attended the event organised by the Community of Neochori, in the Community Hall of the Church of Saint Nicholas, during which His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Myra spoke on the subject: “Saint Nicholas of Myra: A modern course of life and martyrdom from 1995 to the present”.

The Patriarch and those present were welcomed by the Supervisor of the Bosporus Region, His Eminence Metropolitan Athenagoras of Kydonia, while after the speech, the Ecumenical Patriarch congratulated the Metropolitan of Myra and, among other things, praised him for all that he does in his ecclesiastical province.

The event was attended by His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi and His Eminence Metropolitan Andreas of Forty Churches, as well as clergy, community leaders, and expatriates.
