The Annual Memorial of the Missionary Workers and Benefactors of the Church in Korea

On Sunday, 18 February 2024, for the second year in a row, a memorial service of all the missionary workers and benefactors of our Church in Korea was held in all the parishes of the Orthodox Metropolis of Korea

Since the year 2023 we have established the celebration of the aforementioned commemoration on the Sunday after 17 February, the day on which we celebrate the anniversary of the first Divine Liturgy that took place in the Korean peninsula in 1900, as a sign of honour and gratitude for all the Russians, Greeks and Koreans who have contributed to the birth and development of the Orthodox Church in Korea.

May they all have rest in God’s kingdom and may their memory be eternal.
