The Ambassador of Greece to Australia visits the Archdiocesan District of Perth

On Monday 13 May 2024, His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea, on behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, warmly received His Excellency Mr Stavros Venizelos, Ambassador of Greece to Australia and his wife Mr Larisa Tikaidi at the Archdiocesan District of Perth Offices in Dianella. 

The Ambassador of Greece was escorted by the Consul of Greece in Perth, Mrs Georgia Karasiotou, together with Vice Admiral Christos Sasiakos HN, Deputy Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) and his wife Ms Maria Karadimitriou, Captain Pavlos Angelopoulos GRC N, Colonel Ioannis Fasianos, Defence Attache at our Embassy in Canberra and Lt Commander Stylianos Mitsiotis. 

The official guests remained for lunch and were also taken on a tour of the Church of Saint Nektarios which is located adjacent to the Archdiocesan District of Perth offices.
