The 61 honourees of the Order of the Christ-Loving by Archbishop Makarios of Australia
His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia honoured 61 devout Christians from all over the country with the Order of the Christ-Loving. These are people who have distinguished themselves for their selfless contribution to the Church and for their valuable contribution to the promotion of its work.
The awarding of the distinctions took place during the recent celebratory dinners, in Sydney and Melbourne, given in honour of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia for his Patronal Feast Day. The Archbishop conveyed to all the honourees the gratitude of the whole of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia and his paternal wishes for health and longevity, to continue their noble work.
It is recalled that the order of the Christ-Loving was instituted by His Eminence in the year 2019, with the blessing of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
