Sister of Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand passed away
The sister of His Eminence Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand, Eleni Ktistaki, aged 59, recently passed away.
Her passing away spread sadness throughout the region of Mesara, Heraklion, her place of origin, as well as more widely in the Prefecture of Heraklion and all over Crete, since she had developed robust social and political activity, distinguished for her contribution to her fellow human beings.
In the past he was the Deputy Secretary of Social Relations for the New Democracy Party in Crete, while most recently she was Responsible for the Quality of Life and Volunteering Sector of the Electoral district management committee in Heraklion.
The New Democracy party issued an announcement about the passing away of Eleni Ktistaki, citing the following:
“We express our deep sorrow for the loss of Eleni Ktistaki. She stood out for her contribution to our fellow human beings, but also for her professional career. Despite the difficult battle she fought with cancer, she was at the forefront of the battle in the recent national elections, as a candidate for the New Democracy Party in Crete, which she loved so much.
We send our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones.”
