Annual event with Christmas carols held at the Hellenic Presidency

President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Tuesday, 23 December 2024, received and exchanged wishes with groups singing Christmas carols from all parts of Greece, during the traditional Christmas event held at the presidency each year.

As every year, the Armed Forces’ band played Christmas songs and carols on the marble staircase of the presidential mansion, outside the president’s office. The event was then transferred to the large accreditation hall, where the presidential guard sang carols from the Peloponnese and Epirus, followed by clubs and associations from all over Greece.

The event concluded with the customary photograph of the president with the journalists, photographers and technical crews covering the event.
