Services of the Messages of newly elected Metropolitan of Denver

On Saturday, 18 May 2024, the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate convened under the leadership of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. Deliberating on the agenda, the Synod made significant decisions.

Among these decisions was the acceptance of Archbishop Leo of Helsinki and All Finland’s resignation intention. Following a thorough examination of the relevant report by the Synodal Commission on Orthodox Issues, this resignation will take effect at the Clergy-Laity Assembly of the Autonomous Church of Finland in November, where a successor will be appointed.

Additionally, the Smaller and Greater Messages of the newly elected Metropolitan Konstantinos of Denver were solemnly celebrated.
