Reception at Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Athens

A reception for the participants of the 4th Conference of Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate on Human Rights, Democracy, and Religious Freedom was held at the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday afternoon in Athens.

In attendance were His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira, His Eminence Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium, His Eminence Metropolitan Theodoritos of Laodicea, Director of the Representative office of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Athens, Fr. Alex Karloutsos, Deputy Foreign Minister G. Kotsiras, along with the entire delegation of the Archons.

Greetings were extended by Mr. Athanasios Marinos, president of the Brotherhood of Archons “Panagia Pammakaristos” and co-chair of the Conference, as well as Mr. Anthony Limberakis, National Commander of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in the USA, and co-chair of the Conference.

The final address was delivered by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, representing His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
