Phanar: Archimandrite Kaisarios Chronis is the new archivist of the Patriarchates

The Holy and Sacred Synod convened on Tuesday, 19 December 2023, under the presidency of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, during its regular session, where all the items on the agenda were considered, and the following decisions were made.

The Ecumenical Patriarch then announced the appointment of Archimandrite Kaisarios Chronis as the Archivist of the Patriarchates, following yesterday’s promotions at the Patriarchal Court.

At the end of this session, festive greetings and exchanges were made between the Ecumenical Patriarch and Metropolitan Panteleimon of Vryoula for the upcoming feast day of the Nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and the holy twelve days of Christmas.
