Perth: Royal Hours and the Apokathelosis Service 

On Great and Holy Friday morning, with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyanea, Presided at the Royal Hours and Apokathelosis Service at the Church of Evangelismos in West Perth. 

His Grace in his brief sermon outlined the significance of the day by stating, “When we cast our eyes on the Crucified Christ, we are reminded of the enormous love that God the Father has for each one of us. We are also reminded of how priceless our precious souls are to Him”.

At the conclusion of the service, His Grace, on behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, wished everyone a blessed Pascha.
