Patriarch of Serbia celebrated the feast of the Myrrh-Bearing Women on Sunday

Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia presided over the Divine Liturgy in Belgrade’s church on Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women, May 8, 2022.

Patriarch Porfirije officiated the Divine Liturgy assisted by Bishop Sava of Marča, the Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of Bishops Archimandrite Nektarije, Archimandrite Danilo from the Metropolis of Zagreb and Ljubljana, the Head of the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church Archpriest Vitaly Tarasyev, the Protopresbyter-staurophors Radivoj Panic, Sreten Mladenović, Miloš Milovanović, Jovan Blagojević, Tode Jeftinić, and Mihajlo Arnaut, the presbyters Aleksandar Lučić and Marko Kojić, protodeacon Dragan and Radomir Vrućinić, deacon Dragan Ašković, Nikola Kostić, Slavko Aničić, and Vladimir Rumenić.

Following the Divine Liturgy, Patriarch Porfirije led a procession around the church, and then he blessed the gifts which were brought by the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Montenegro Vladimir Božović, the host of the President of the City Municipality of Palilula Miroslav Ivanović with associates and members of the Municipal Council.
