Patriarch of Antioch offers New Year’s wishes to Ecumenical Patriarch

On Tuesday, 2 January 2024, His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch spoke with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, to whom he expressed his personal wishes, as well as those of his Church, on the occasion of the beginning of the new year. The Ecumenical Patriarch warmly replied and also offered his wishes in return, especially for the prevalence of peace in the Middle East, and congratulated His Beatitude Patriarch John for the restoration of communion between the Churches of Antioch and Jerusalem.

The communication between the two Primates was particularly cordial and fraternal, and the Ecumenical Patriarch invited the Patriarch of Antioch to visit the Phanar in the near future.
