Optimistic outlook for Greek tourism in 2025

The first indications from arrivals and receipts this year are particularly optimistic for tourism.
According to the Bank of Greece, in January arrivals increased by 11.4% from the same month last year, and travel receipts by 7.5%.
Inbound travel traffic in January amounted to 821,600 travelers. Travel traffic from Germany rose 35.3%, while that from France decreased by 45.2%.
The positive picture is also confirmed by Athens International Airport data, as international arrivals in Athens increased by 11.9% in February. These figures are similar to those announced by Fraport Greece about its 14 regional airports.
