New composition of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate

The Ecumenical Patriarchate proceeded to the new composition of the Holy and Sacred Synod, for the term from March 1 to August 31, 2024.

According to the announcement of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, for this period the Holy and Sacred Synod will consist – chaired by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew – of the following Hierarchs:

Metropolitan Makarios of Anea
Metropolitan Theodoretos of Laodicea
Archbishop Evgenios of Crete
Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea
Metropolitan Nathanael of Kos and Nisyros
Metropolitan Arsenios of Austria
Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey
Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Symi
Metropolitan Nathanael of Chicago
Metropolitan Prodromos of Rethymno and Avlopotamos
