Mid-Pentecost celebration and visit of the Ecclesiastical Academy of Montenegro to the Theological School of Halki

On the Feast day of Mid-Pentecost, Wednesday, May 18, 2022, the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy were celebrated in the church of the Theological School of Halki, presided over by the dean, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos.

A group of professors and students of the Ecclesiastical Academy of Montenegro, as well as faithful from the Princes’ Islands, were in attendance.

Afterwards, the students, led by their professors, were greeted by the Abbot, who welcomed them to the holy foundation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and spoke to them about its rich history and its contribution to Orthodoxy. This was followed by a tour to the classrooms and the historical Library of the School, while the guests enjoyed a banquet in their honour.
