The Metropolis of Zambia has announced that His Eminence Metropolitan John of Zambia, is currently in the intensive care unit of the Evgenidion Hospital in Athens, receiving treatment for malaria.

He is under the care and monitoring of attending physicians, who are administering the necessary treatment for his condition.
