Metropolitan of France visited the Theological School of Halki

His Eminence Metropolitan Dimitrios of France visited the Theological School of Halki on Wednesday, 1 November 2023, with a large group of clergy and lay pilgrims from his province. He was welcomed at the entrance of the School by the Abbot, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos.

During his brief address to the Metropolitan and the pilgrims in the Great Synodikon, the Abbot referred to the history of the Theological School, the imposed suspension of its operation, but also its current activity. The Metropolitan thanked the Abbot for the hospitality and reception at the School.

Then, the visitors venerated the church of the Holy Trinity, made a tour to the classrooms, the historic Library and the other rooms of the School.
