Metropolitan Iakovos of Mexico presided over first Divine Liturgy after his enthronement
On Sunday, 17 March 2024, following his enthronement, His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos of Mexico presided over the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sophia in Mexico City.
Metropolitan Iakovos was accompanied by His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of Myrina and His Grace Bishop Timotheos of Assos, alongside clergy from the Holy Metropolis and abroad.
His Eminence Metropolitan Joseph of Buenos Aires and South America delivered the Sunday sermon.
