Metropolitan Georgios of Karpenisi visits the Theological School of Halki

On Wednesday, 4 October 2023, the Holy Theological School of Halki was visited by a large group of clergy and lay pilgrims from the Holy Metropolis of Karpenisi, under the leadership of His Eminence Metropolitan Georgios of Karpenisi.

The guests were welcomed in the Great Synodikon of the School by the Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, along with the monastery’s brotherhood, welcoming them to the historical institution of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and referring to the history and contribution of the School to the Church and the Nation.

After their tour of the Chapel of the Holy Trinity the classrooms, the historical library and the other areas of the School, the visitors were offered a meal in their honour, which was blessed by His Eminence Metropolitan Georgios.
