Members of the Swedish Institute of Research at the Theological School of Halki
A group of researchers and young scientists from the Swedish Institute of Research of Constantinople, who participate in the Summer School “Remembering and coexisting in Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean”, visited today, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, the Theological School of Halki.
The visitors were welcomed by the Abbot, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, to the historic spiritual foundation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and its history and contribution were explained to them.
Then, a guided tour of the church, the classrooms, and the historical Library of the School followed.
