Melbourne: The Paschal Celebration of the Vespers of Love
With exceptional brightness and Paschal Joy, on Sunday 24 April, Pascha Sunday, The Vespers of Love were performed in the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne.
His Eminence Metropolitan Ezekiel of Dervis, was dressed in his Hierarchical vestments in the Archdiocesan Residence, in the presence of the Archiepiscopal Vicar of the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, and the Priests of the city.
Afterwards, a procession in the presence of the Evzones of the Presidential Guard went to the Archdiocesan of St. Eustathios in South Melbourne, where the Vespers of Love where held, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Ezekiel of Dervis.
During the Vespers of Love the Holy Gospel was read in many different languages by the priests of the city.
His Grace Bishop Kyriakos wished many years and blessings to the faithful with health and every good blessing from above, while distributing red eggs as a paschal blessing.
